The Società Economica of Chiavari reserves a special treatment for young people.

Grants are given to deserving students, thanks to numerous legacies.

Theses of University Degrees concerning this territory are kept, enumerated and lent out for consultation (see Library).

Thanks also to conventions with the University of Genoa and Caen (France) as well as colleges which request them, we effect training courses for research and the specification of cultural and environmental property, in addition to historical objects and documents.

We encourage visits to museums. A tutorial support is available for both the compilation of theses and for a thorough study of specialization in those subjects of particular interest concerning the Società Economica.

On request, we help young people complete the preparation for the necessary licence to be classified as Cultural Tourist Guides (Ruling of the Provincial Administration).

There are also special training courses for teachers and their updating, in collaboration with the Cultural Centre for the Province of Genoa, the CIDI Tigullio, and the Province of Liguria.
